Kirakira Pretty Cure à la Mode
Episode 35 - My Own Review
FLAMING HEART, LEVEL HEAD
Again, being another Aoi-centric episode... I just have to make it a musical episode once more.
MY OWN HUMBLE OPINION:
It's crystal clear that Chic Rocher is a bland name for Ferrero Rocher.
This episode brings us the return of Mitsuyoshi Mizushima (Aoi's retainer, remember?) and of Aoi herself to high society. This time, she brings Himari -a middle-class introvert- along to the society event.
Culture shock ensues (with all the shenanigans that a fish out of water plot entails) quite obviously, but of course so does the relationship between these two foils upgrade when, facing yet another outbreak of the Dark Fog during the event, Himari defends Aoi and vice versa, right before they transform.

I am not an Aoimari shipper (these two are not my KKPCàlM OTP, as you know), even though Aoi just exudes hot blood through every pore... but still I love that there is a Hamlet to her Laertes, a Burr to her Hamilton, a Sancho to her Quixote...
Whilst their personalities are different, both Himari and Aoi have things that they are passionate about. That makes them a good match.
IN THE NEXT EPISODE:
We have the sports festival episode... which is also Akira-centric!
IN THE FILM...

Speaking of our resident bifauxnen, she has to dress as a lobster?! Still, that's a pretty more charming lobster than Stannis Baratheon!

Aoi greets the president of Chic Rocher
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern make already stressed Himari snap
